ET (Polyethylene terephthalate) is one of the most widely used engineering plastics, together with POM-C and MC-NYLON. Its excellent mechanical properties make it suitable for precision mechanical parts. It provides high tensile and mechanical strength, high hardness, and good dimensional stability. Due to its good creep strength, low moisture absorption, and outstanding dimensional stability, PET is extremely well suited for applications where complex parts combined with the tightest requirements in dimensional accuracy and surface quality are needed. TECADUR PET also exhibits very good chemical resistance characteristics.
